Shiva - Transformer

Shiva is one of the three most celebrated gods in India.  Said to possess untamed wisdom, insight and energy, he has the capability for hedonism, but also abstinence, representing balance.  Shiva is named Adiyogi or Yogeshwara, lord of yoga. A talisman is an object that has spirtual powers to protect and benefit the wearer. Shiva has the ability to destroy negative forces, creating positivity.  He can sometimes be seen wearing a snake necklace, signifying rebirth and transformation, as the shedding of old skin is replaced by new.  This revered god is occasionally shown as half man and half woman, the symbolic intent being that female and male principles are inseparable, reiterating his ability to create balance. Each pendant is unique, no two are exactly the same.
