Collection: Mor - Peacock Pendant
The animal kingdom is not separate to the human realm in Indian culture and mythology, in fact they are seen as being on the same plane of existence, sharing cycles of reincarnation. The peacock is native to India and is the country's national bird. Depicting these revered birds, Mor pendants also have small bells called ghungroo, typically worn by Indian dancers, which make a soft sound. Often compared closely to the powerful Phoenix, both birds are believed to provide courage and are associated with rebirth and resurrection. These pendants are a perfect reminder that we can always rise again no matter what we go through. Each pendant is unique, no two are exactly the same.
